Imagine a system where you can be employed as an Apprentice, where your paid an Apprentice wage AND where your employer pays your tuition fees, so no huge tuition loan when you qualify with your business degree…. then add on top a self-diagnosis of Autism, which your overworked doctor has agreed ….because you know how to pull the wool over the GPs eyes from the stuff you can read online…… so you get PIP on top of all that! ….Sound ridiculous that someone able to do a degree AND who is already paid a salary also gets PIP top-up….no, we have evidence of a number of these cases.

The system is broken.

Professor Matt Goodwin, last week on BBC Any Questions, to much shock & horror in the studio, highlighted just how broken the system is….he said that he simply does not believe that the millions of people who are claiming sickness benefit in this country are genuinely sick. In Britain, we currently have nearly 1 MILLION young people in this country who are not in work, education or training, many of whom use the excuse that they can’t be in work, education or training because of their “mental health”.

Now not all of our young people are like this. Many are very hard working already and hold down online jobs whilst still at school and university, without PIP and go-on to take on the world. Take Samantha, she is what used to be called “high-functioning autistic” so change is difficult for her….but she holds down a demanding degree and without PIP or other benefits. She’s in the good company of Einstein, Musk, Bill Gates, Dan Ackroyd, Anthony Hopkins, Newton, Darwin, Barbara McClintock, Satoshi Tajiri, Nikola Tesla, Steve Jobs, Vernon Smith, Leonardo da Vinci, Henry Ford, Beethoven Mozart, George Orwell, Jane austion , Stephen Spielberg, to name just a few! And none of them needed benefits.

(For those that don’t know, High-functioning autism,” while a common term, isn’t an official diagnosis, but rather an informal description for individuals on the autism spectrum (ASD) who can speak, read, write, and manage daily life with minimal assistance, often corresponding to ASD Level 1.)

Is this surprising? We also have a benefit system that actively incentivises people to stay on benefits and avoid work. No wonder that 25% of the young generation are intending to give up work and live on benefits because they make more on benefits if they milk the system.

THE BENEFITS SYSTEM IS BROKEN.

As Professor Goodwin said, if we do not change course, then OBR’s official projections show that by 2030 this country will be spending upwards of £140 BILLION on welfare for working age adults every year, that’s twice the projected defence budget. This is utterly INSANE.

We have to radically change the incentive structure in this country and change our culture. In China, they have spring festival, a four-day country-wide holiday where everyone goes home to visit family….but everyone works the previous two weekends free of charge so that the country does not lose out on GDP – that is their culture of hard work and why China is a booming economy.

Contrast that with our Big State, Big Welfare, Big Tax, Big Debt, Big Immigration economy which has been pushing us all into managed decline for two decades, and add into that the importation of a million illegal migrants consisting people who are uneducated and are happy to simply live on benefits – to get money off the back of working people, many of whom are working a 60 hour week just to make ends meet. No wonder the young don’t want to work.

We need to get people back to work, especially our young people. We have to push back against this culture of dependency. Thatcher had the right idea, she decimated welfare …..she developed a culture where benefit was barely living, you didn’t starve, but you could afford to go anywhere or go out for a takeaway ….what welfare was meant for….ensuring people didn’t starve, but where being in work was always better.

Where living on welfare was unpleasant and where there was a massive incentive to work and where working always made you better off. Where you were significantly better off working 30 hours a week than working 20 hours a week. Where you were significantly better off working 20 hours a week than working 10 hours a week. Where you were significantly better off working 10 hours a week than being on benefit.

And when it was announced that benefits would be cut because they had become unaffordable, Labour MPs started kicking and screaming about looming cuts to welfare for the most disadvantaged British people, even though they have no problem spending £6 billion annually on illegal migrants and paying £18 billion to hand full sovereignty of the island of Diego Garcia, whcih we already own and which Mauritius disclaimed at the time of independence, over to …yes, you guessed it ….Chinese-backed Mauritius. But at the same time, the Labour Government is happy to bankrupt farms over the next 20 years as their changes to inheritance tax will make farms uneconomic, and to strip pensioners of winter fuel allowance.

It is a National Emergency to radically transform our approach to welfare. Welfare is simply not sustainable as it exists and as the spiralling cost of the welfare bill goes skyward, and a lot of this is driven by rising numbers of people claiming ‘mental health’ problems as well as mass uncontrolled immigration.

Professor Matt Goodwin highlighted that, on average, households in Britain that contain at least one foreign national claiming benefits received more than £7.5 BILLION in universal credit in just one year alone – that’s enough for 25 million winter fuel payments for pensioner. He said “In fact, overall, in one year alone, nearly one million foreigners —some 610,000 from outside Europe and nearly 400,000 from Europe—claimed working-age benefits. (Figures from the Centre for Migration Control)

If you haven’t already done so, bookmark the Centre for Migration Control, they’re doing sterling work, extracting the Tory and Labour Government coverup about the failed migration policies and teh failed social cohension policies. A glaring lack of data and transparency on issues that other European Governments readily publish but that the Uniparty’s Government and its complicit civil servants want to hide and would rather not talk about.

As Matt Goodwin stated, “Some 40 nationalities in Britain, furthermore, are claiming benefits at a greater rate than the British people, and while some high-skill migrants do make important contributions to our economy, driving growth and prosperity, many of the typically low-skill low-wage migrants who arrived in recent years, as part of the Boriswave are taking more out of Britain’s economy and the welfare state than they are putting in. They are, in other words, a net fiscal cost, not a net fiscal benefit.”

You will notice that Labour talk about the Country’s GDP rising – but won’t talk about the GDP per capita which is falling and has been falling for over a decade. It doesn’t matter what GDP is, it matters what GDP per capita is!
If you have a family of 2 adults and 2 children and earn £1000 per week (which by the way is way over the national average income), then your household income is £1,000 per week.
If I then put another 5 people in your house and give then £10 each per week, the household income will increase by £50 per week, to £1050 per week – that’s what Labour highlights – but even just taking into account food costs of £30 per week per person, then household income drops from £250 per week per capita (per person) to £116 per week per capita, – it doesn’t take a genius to work out you have just become drastically poorer…..but Labour don’t seem to understand this….. and in fact, your disposable income will have gone down faster.

NO WONDER WE ARE ALL FEELING POORER!
