Portugal has announced plans to expel around 18,000 illegal foreigners living in the country. Minister of the Presidency Ant\u00f3nio Leit\u00e3o Amaro said the government will issue notifications telling them that they have 20 days to leave. This follows serious unrest in Portugal about the influx of undocumented illegal migrants. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In Italy, following the murder by strangulation of Saman Abbas, a young italian girl of pakistani heritage, resulted in life sentences for her father Shabbar Abbas and her mother Nazia Shaheen, and 14 years for her Uncle- for killing her for refusing to marry her cousin. After a family row, Saman Abbas posted a facebook picture of her kissing her boyfriend, a western man, and she was killed the next day. Her parents fled to Pakistan from where her father was located and extradicted. Her mother remains on the run in Pakistan. Her only crime – to date a Western man and refsue to interbrred by marrying her cousin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
